Quiet Revolution Pictures is an award-winning original motion picture producer, service producer and specialist in international treaty co production and international film financing. Based in Ottawa in the National Capital Region of Canada, the company operates internationally. We are federally incorporated under the laws of Canada and are a member of the Canadian Producers Association (CMPA) and the ACE Network. Headed by veteran producer Michael Dobbin, the company takes pride in bringing Canada, Europe and the World together on screen. Our sister company, Capital Motion Picture Group is a theatrical distributor specialising in the Canadian market and we share a production partnership with Peardrop Productions Ltd. in the United Kingdom.

Michael takes pride in bringing Canada, Europe and the World together on screen. With the UK’s Ironbox Films, Michael recently delivered Bernhard Pucher’s comedy-horror Ravers, and with Hungary’s KMH Films co-produced György Pálfi’s screen adaptation of Stanislav Lem’s classic sci-fi novel His Master’s Voice. Other titles include Justin Simms’ Away from Everywhere (2017) starring Jason Priestley, and adapted from the award-winning novel by Chad Pelley; the Méliès d’Argent-winning debut of Boris Rodriguez: Eddie – The Sleepwalking Cannibal (2012) and Endre Hules’ The Maiden Danced (2011) which was considered as Hungary’s nomination for the Best Foreign Language Oscar® at the 85th Academy Awards. Michael is a member of the ACE Network, an alumnus of Toronto’s Ryerson University.
