Tom has yet to come to terms with that fateful day when he lost a once-in-a-lifetime scholarship to a coin toss. Now, trapped in a dead-end job, he’s convinced that he’s destined for failure. Grudgingly, he accepts a bet from his optimist friend Greg, in a game they call “swap”. Four friends exchange briefcases on busy a sidewalk with a $20 prize waiting in one of the cases at end of play. When they unwittingly intercept a delivery of cash intended as blackmail ransom, it sets off a chain of events that gives “bad luck” a whole new meaning. .
